In April 2003, Stangenes Industries formed MK Magnetics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary based in Adelanto, California. MK Magnetics designs and manufactures tape-wound soft magnetic cores of varying materials including silicon steels, nickel alloys, amorphous material, and nanocrystalline.
